Giving back — transparently.
I started Knot for Good for two reasons: to make cozy, high-quality crochet pieces people actually use, and to let every purchase quietly push forward a mission that matters. Crocheting began as something I learned from my mom, Loretta — and when Alzheimer’s started taking pieces of her, stitching became one of the ways I stayed close. This page is my promise to keep it simple and honest: real products, real donations, always visible.

Growth over time
Cumulative donations by month (timeline starts in 2023 and respects each nonprofit’s opening date).
I’m not chasing a one-time splashy number — I’m building something steady that can last.
Why these pieces?
Because comfort is practical — and practicality is how giving becomes sustainable. I make purses, bags, warm hats, and afghan blankets (baby-size keepsakes to full-size throws for cold winter nights) with the goal that they’re used often and loved for a long time.
The bigger goal is simple: keep a reliable stream of support flowing to organizations involved in Alzheimer’s-related research, education, prevention, and community impact — so every stitch becomes a small step toward something better.
If you ever want to understand the math, the timing, or where things are headed next, just reach out. I want this to feel personal — because it is.
